After months of anticipation, BBF participants and partners from across the state gathered at A-B Tech in Asheville for the BBF Apprenticeship Summit, an event supporting ECE apprenticeships and North Carolina's workforce of early childhood educators. Inspiring keynotes, stories of career journeys, research findings, and thought-provoking breakout sessions reinforced the need for supporting this critical workforce.

If so, don’t forget that BBF has funding to support employers as well as ECE pre-apprentices and apprentices! Here are some examples of what BBF funding can cover:
Talk with your pre-apprentices and apprentices to determine their needs and reach out to our team to request financial support! You can also log-in to the Participant Access page to submit any reimbursement requests.
Look out for an announcement from the BBF team about upcoming webinars that will review what can be reimbursed and a tutorial on how to submit reimbursement requests!

T.E.A.C.H. Apprenticeship Scholarship
Did you know there is a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship program exclusively for apprentices? If you are already utilizing a T.E.A.C.H. scholarship and are a new apprentice pursuing an Associate's Degree, the Early Childhood Educator Apprenticeship Scholarship may be a better fit!
